Helm Group Counseling was founded in 2024 to further our passion of providing exceptional therapy tailored to the needs of families, teens and adults. Our team believes in the power of support and understanding as key components for personal growth. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their challenges and discover their strengths. Together, we work towards fostering healthier relationships and lasting positive change.

Meet the Team

Owner, Lead Therapist

Ed Helm, LCSW

Ed is a skilled clinical social worker with more than a decade of experience supporting a diverse range of clients. Ed began his career working with neurodiverse children in school settings, and has since worked in multidisciplinary integrated care teams serving a wide range of different client populations. With a compassionate approach and a commitment to ongoing learning, Ed strives to empower his clients on their journey to well-being.

Jackie Helm, MS, LPC

Jackie is a compassionate therapist dedicated to empowering individuals on their journeys. With a special passion for supporting the LGBTQIA community, she creates a safe and inclusive space for her clients. Through her guidance, Jackie helps people embrace their authentic selves and navigate life's challenges with confidence. As our Director of Clinical Education, Jackie also helps give back to the community by organizing our student internships and shadowing programs.
